STM Validation Final Conference

STM Validation Final Conference

Many joined us in London November 13-14!

The STM Validation Final Conference at the IMO Headquarter in London, demonstrated solutions in use, shared and  showed early results. Delegates got feeling of the future e-Navigation onboard, how VTS-operators will work and got answers from the experts and experienced.

Panels discussed how Sea Traffic Management will affect Safety, Efficiency and Environment, and how the industry see Digital Transformation happening. The project’s bloopers and blunders proved that innovation is not a straight line, it is rather a voyage with many waypoints. Ten demos and one curiosity corner, formed the base of good discussions during long networking breaks, personal meetings are the sparks that will make ideas catch fire.

Bleow you can find the agenda and speakers, and links to individual presentations. For a list of all presentations click here!

Information sharing will change how the entire maritime industry operates. Collaboration platforms with unexpected partners will appear, and so will fresh players. Modern technology will change the playing field and it is essential to adapt current business models. You also learned about the other ongoing and coming initiatives in the on-going STM voyage to the future.
