Ports
Port CDM services are focused on the synchronisation, optimisation, monitoring and improvement of port calls. Hence, the establishment of a better overview of how to improve the overall port call processes in the studied ports will be a final objective within these developments.
In order to provide a baseline scenario for the analysis, A&E has produced an information sheet of each port included in Port CDM Test Beds. These sheets contain relevant information about each port such as the type of cargo handled, terminals characteristics, accurate information about port services (towage, pilotage, etc.), etc…
This information will help to understand the dimension, the type and the facilities of each port and will offer support for the analysis of the benefits of Port CDM within the STM concept. The information sheets for each port can be found by clicking on the corresponding anchor.
