MONALISA 2.0 was invited to the mid-term conference of the FUTUREMED project in Valencia March 27. José Andrés Giménez: “Valencia Port Foundation is a member of both projects, and we believe it is important that developments and stakeholders involved in designing the future of the sea voyage, the future of European ports, and the future of hinterland transportations are aware of each other and improve their current coordination towards a more efficient integration of the different phases of the maritime transportation chain ”

Mikael Lind, Viktoria Swedish ICT, presented MONALISA 2.0 and Sea Traffic Management and was grateful to learn more about the conditions of ports as connection points for sea transports and hinterland transports: “Ports are the key to the greatest improvements of the efficiency in the whole maritime logistics chain. Looking at the key enablers of Sea Traffic Management, several are related to the port.”
