Live route sharing helps develop shore procedures

Live route sharing helps develop shore procedures

Published: July 02, 2014

Sound VTS (Denmark/Sweden) receives up to date routes from two Transatlantic vessels passing frequently. The use in a live environment, enables VTS operators to suggest procedures for future Sea Traffic Coordination Centres. Other live tests are on their way in other areas. Input from many sources will help make the future services more complete when released.
